About this notice and how information is used
Amanda Veasey, trading as Kings Hill Driver Training, is responsible for the personal information described in this notice. It covers website enquiries and lesson administration.
The enquiry form collects your name, email address, phone number, pick-up postcode, availability and any information you include in your message. This information is used to respond to your enquiry, arrange lessons and collection locations, and communicate with you about lessons. It is not used for promotional emails or texts.
Information needed to arrange and provide lessons is used to take steps at your request and fulfil our agreement with you. Legitimate interests may apply to routine administration and maintaining appropriate records. Legal obligations may apply where information must be kept or disclosed. Where processing relies on consent, you can withdraw that consent.
Storage, security and retention
Information is held through Wix, Gmail, Amanda’s mobile phone and a paper diary. The mobile phone is PIN/password protected, and the diary is kept securely. Access is limited to what is needed for lesson administration.
Pupil records are normally kept for six years after lessons end. For pupils under 18, records are normally kept for six years after their 18th birthday. Information may be kept longer where there is a legitimate legal, insurance or other necessary reason.
Routine emails, texts and similar correspondence, including enquiries that do not lead to lessons, are normally deleted within one month unless still needed.
Wix and Google provide website, form and email services. Information may be shared where you request it, where necessary to provide these services, or where required by law. These providers may process information internationally under their applicable data-processing arrangements. Personal information is not sold.
Your rights, website information and contact
Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to access or correct your information, request deletion or restriction, object to certain uses, or receive a portable copy. Where processing relies on consent, you can withdraw it. Some information may still need to be kept for a legitimate legal or records-related reason.
The website is hosted by Wix. Cookies and similar technologies may be used for security and functionality. Where applicable, optional cookies can be managed through the website’s cookie controls.
